Welcome to the Health Law Partnership!

The Health Law Partnership (HeLP)
is a medical legal partnership between healthcare providers and lawyers created to improve the health and wellbeing of low-income children and their families by addressing multiple factors affecting children’s health. HeLP is also an educational partnership designed to promote public health through teaching and learning.

 +

Through our partnership, HeLP serves patients of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta [also a 501(c)(3) organization] and their families who live at or below 200% of the U.S. federal poverty level. While more than half of Children’s patients meet this criterion and are insured through Medicaid or self-pay as indigent, more than one-third of HeLP’s families live below 100% of the federal poverty level.

HeLP assists these families with civil legal problems, including those related to public benefits, family stability, housing, education and disability benefits.
