Allison Stiles

Staff Attorney

Allison Stiles received her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Journalism and Mass Communication, and she graduated from Duke Law School in 2003.  While at Duke, Allison was a Senior Editor or Law and Contemporary Problems, a Moot Court Board member and a student member of the Faculty Appointments Committee.

Following law school, Allison worked as an associate at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP in Atlanta and clerked for the Honorable Graham C. Mullen in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.  After her clerkship, Allison worked for four years as a commercial litigation associate at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston.  During her time in Boston, she worked on pro bono cases involving the local medical-legal partnership, death penalty defense and defense of indigent criminal defendants.  While at Goodwin Procter, Allison also participated in an externship, serving as a Special Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  As a staff attorney at the Health Law Partnership, Allison's practice now focuses on advancing HeLP's interdisciplinary mission of applying legal solutions to physical, social and economic problems often faced by low-income children.  Allison is the 1998 Society Fellow.
