Staff

Both Georgia State University College of Law and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society support HeLP’s goals of delivering public health legal services, providing in-service educational programs and graduate professional education, and advocacy on issues of community concern by employing and supporting essential staff.  Georgia State law school employs two clinical faculty members, one of whom is HeLP’s overall Director, and an administrative assistant to oversee the in-house legal clinic at the law school and to support the work of HeLP at Children’s hospitals.  In addition, the law school hosts an Equal Justice Works Fellow sponsored by Ford and Harrison LLP.  The Atlanta Legal Aid Society employs two staff attorneys and an office manager to provide on-site legal services and in-service education at the HeLP offices at Children’s hospitals.
